Gareth comes from Comber and graduated from the Royal dick vet school in 1996. He worked in england in mixed practices originally in Preston, Selby then onto Guildford in surrey and at this time started to concentrate on his small animal skills especially surgery. An opportunity arose to come back to Jubilee in 2005 where Gareth took his own family pets as a boy and where he originally came for work experience, at the tender age of 16 and decided to become a vet. It has been a great priviledge for him for his career to come full circle back to his roots.

Gareth became a partner in 2008 and passed a further exam in small animal surgery in 2017 and is most happy in the operating theatre. He especially enjoys putting bones and joints back together but also enthusiastically enjoys complex soft tissue work. Along with his clinical team he strives to keep Jubilee always at the cutting edge of small animal practice whether its with our state of the art CT scanning suite or our keyhole surgery and orthopaedic developments. Gareth is married with 2 young children. He has a love for liver and white springer spaniels and is
currently trying to train/not loose/stop from chewing 2 liver and white pups called Bella and Lola.
Outside of veterinary and animals he loves skiing and rugby.
