Vaccinations
Just like in human medicine, vaccination is of prime importance to ensure your pets are healthy. At Jubilee we use quality vaccines which are long established, provide broad cover and have minimal side effects.
Dog vaccines protect against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza virus.
- Primary course 2 injections 4 weeks apart. The earliest from 6 weeks of age , 2nd one not before 10 weeks. Onset of immunity 1 weeks after 2nd vaccine
- Yearly booster recommended
- Kennel cough (Now called infectious cough) is by far the most prevalent disease we see in dogs.
We feel it should be seen as a core vaccine and given with your yearly shots. It is cheaper when
done like this. Becomes effective 5 days after dosing. - One vaccine given intranasally 5 days before going into kennels lasts 1 year.
- We now have an oral form and an injectable form if your pet doesn’t like the intranasal version
Cat vaccines protect against Cat flu, enteritis and leukaemia virus.
- Primary course 2 injections 3 weeks apart earliest 9 weeks of age
- Yearly booster recommended.
Rabbit vaccine covering for Myxomatosis and rabbit viral haemmorhagic diarrhoea type 1 and type 2.
