Flea Treatment

Prevention is better than cure. We have several products that cover for different parasites

For Dogs

• Nexgard Spectra is a modern worm, flea and tick treatment that comes in tablet form. It is a monthly treatment which covers for both internal and external parasites including lungworm.
• Frontline Combo is a long established spot-on product that covers fleas for two months and ticks for one month. This is an older treatment and we are now seeing some flea resistance to this combination but can be used if you dont like tablets
• Advocate covers fleas, ticks, lice, demodectic and sarcoptic mange, ear mites, heart worm, lungworm and roundworm fantastic spectrum of cover no tapeworm cover however.

For Cats

• Nexgard combo is a new product using modern medications that have activity against all internal and external parasites in the cat including tapeworm. Easily to apply to skin and given
  monthly

• Frontline Combo is a long established spot-on product that covers for fleas for 6 weeks and ticks for 1 month. Again a slightly older product that we now see a degree of resistance to for fleas.
